Star Wars: The Clone Wars will debut tonight on Cartoon Network and Cartoon Network HD. The television series, which follows the theater release of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, will debut with two premiere episodes of the animated “Clone Wars” at 9PM and 9:30PM ET. The first episodes include “AMBUSH” and “RISING MALEVOLENCE.”
Star Wars: The Clone Wars is the first weekly television series from Lucasfilm Animation. The series will follow Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, Ahsoka Tano and other “Clone War” characters as they battle against droid forces and dark side characters like Count Dooku, Asajj Ventress, Darth Sidious, and General Grievous.
The first episode titled “AMBUSH” features Jedi Master Yoda on a secret mission to forge a treaty with the King of Toydaria when he is ambushed by Count Dooku.
In the second episode, “RISING MALEVOLENCE,” a secret Separatist weapon terrorizes the clone Starfleet and Anakin and Ahsoka must save Jedi Master Plo Koon before its too late.
Beginning October 10, “The Clone Wars” will move to an earlier 8:30 PM slot, showing a repeat from the week before followed by a premiere, starting at 9:00 PM.
