As of today if you are in the Dallas area you will have eleven more HD channels to choose from with Time Warner Cable services. Some of the channels included are: Fox Sports SW HD, Discovery HD, A&E HD, and National Geographic HD. The areas that get additional high definition channels will include Dallas, Plano, Richardson and Mesquite.
This will bring the number of Time Warner’s HD offerings to 31, about as many as Verizon FiOS offers. Plans for additional cities to get the new channels are in the works. “We should have around 50 HD channels, not counting HD video on demand, everywhere in North Texas by the end of the year,” said Time Warner representative Gary Underwood.
