Netflix begins Latin America rollout

Starting on September 5 through Sep. 12 Netflix is rolling out its streaming service throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. The rollout began in Brazil, where the service costs BR$14.99 and is available in the Portuguese language. Netflix will hit 43 countries throughout the region during the expansion, with Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay scheduled to launch Wednesday, Sept. 7. “We are excited to be bringing Netflix to Latin America and the Caribbean,” said Reed Hastings, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Netflix.
