[Updated] Abel Ferrara’s “Bad Lieutenant” (1992) starring Harvey Keitel has been remastered for release on 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray on May 21st June 4th, 2024. The new presentation is derived from 4k scans of the original negatives and enhanced with Dolby Vision HDR. The soundtrack is provided in 5.1 Surround and Lossless 2.0 options.
Bonus materials include a new interview with cinematographer Ken Kelsch and the new featurette “Bad Neighborhoods: The Locations of Bad Lieutenant,” as well as the previously released “Retrospective Documentary.” A second copy of the film is provided on 2k (1080p) Blu-ray.
