It’s not too often a TV show gets released to 4k on disc, but BBC’s Sherlock will be available on Ultra HD Blu-ray this fall. The first season of series starring now-famed Marvel actor Benedict Cumberbatch will hit stores on November 6, with at least 461 minutes of content.
We don’t know much more about the release to UHD BD: bonus features, video specs, audio formats, etc.; only that it’s priced $29.98 on Amazon.
Mind you, the first season only consists of four episodes, but they are long episodes running an hour and a half each (with the exception of the unaired pilot (Episode 0) that runs 55 minutes.
We’ll post more info once we get it.
