It’s the first week of new Blu-ray releases in March and a bunch of new titles are hitting shelves that we want you to know about.
First off, 5-time Oscar-nominee Lady Bird from director Greta Gerwig hits stores in a 2-disc combo edition from Lionsgate that includes a DVD and Digital HD copy. Disney/Marvel’s action film Thor: Ragnarok comes in several Blu-ray combo variations and retailer exclusives, all with two discs and digital copies for viewing on multiple screens. Planet Earth mini-series Blue Planet II is a must watch on HD and 4k TVs, releasing to 3-disc and 4-disc editions from BBC Earth – minus DVD or digital copies.
And, on 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray this week Blue Planet II, Thor: Ragnarok, and The Dark Crystal Anniversary Edition are all releasing on Tuesday. For those of you who collect SteelBooks, Blue Planet II and Thor: Ragnarok are also available in exclusive editions from Best Buy. (See more 4k Blu-ray releases in March.)
