The Despicable Me franchise never fails to deliver a gem, and the third movie in the trilogy is no exception. The animated feature from Illumination is one hour and thirty minutes of pure fun starring Steve Carell Gru (and Dru) and Kristen Wiig as Gru’s partner Lucy Wilde.
The 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray edition of Despicable Me 3 presents the film in 2160p resolution with High Dynamic Range color enabled by the HDR10 specification, while the traditional Blu-ray is formatted in 1080p resolution. A widescreen aspect ratio of 2.40:1 is maintained on both Blu-ray versions.
On Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray audio is provided in English DTS:X and DTS HeadphonesX, along with subtitles in English, French, and Spanish.
Bonus features include a new mini-movie, deleted scene, Minion Moments, character profiles, and other extras (see below for details). Both Blu-ray combo editions also include a Digital Copy of Despicable Me 3 that’s subject to expiration (so redeem your codes right away!).
