Lionsgate has announced the release date for The Big Sick on Blu-ray and DVD. The film was directed by Michael Showalter (Wet Hot American Summer) and stars Kumail Nanjiani, Zoe Kazan, Ray Romano, and Holly Hunter. The Blu-ray and DVD editions release on Sept. 19, 2017.
On Blu-ray, The Big Sick is formatted in 1080p at 1.85:1 widescreen aspect ratio, with a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack. Extras include several featurettes, deleted scenes, and more. A digital copy can also be redeemed through iTunes or UltraViolet.

Synopsis:
Based on the real-life courtship between Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon, The Big Sick tells the story of Pakistan-born aspiring comedian Kumail (Nanjiani), who connects with grad student Emily (Kazan) after one of his stand-up sets. However, what they thought would be just a one-night stand blossoms into the real thing, which complicates the life that is expected of Kumail by his traditional Muslim parents.
