Orange Is The New Black: Season 4 is now available from Lionsgate in a 3-disc edition that spans 778 minutes. With the subtext āNew blood, new rules,ā Season 4 continues where Season 3 left off with a hitman attempting to strangle Alex Vause. The 13 episodes are formatted in 1080p video at 1.78:1 widescreen aspect ratio backed by a sharp DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack.
And, Michael Mannās Heat starring Al Pacino, Robert de Niro, and Val Kilmer is now available in a Directorās Definitive Edition with a new Blu-ray copy of the film from a newly remastered 4k source supervised by Mann. The Definitive Directorās Edition features a 24-bit English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and two new extras including an Academy Panel reuniting Michael Mann, Al Pacino and Robert De Niro and the āToronto International Film Festival Q&A with Mann.ā
Other Blu-ray movie releases this week include a Collectorās Edition of Serial Mom (1994), Brain Damage (1988) Special 2-Disc Edition, Psycho (1998), A Street Cat Named Bob (2016), Things to Come (2017), and the documentary VHS Massacre (2016).
Older titles now on high definition Blu-ray include Kiju Yoshida: Love + Anarchism (1969), Return of Sabata (1972), Adios Sabata (1971), Making Contact (1985), Marjorie Morningstar (1958) and Indian Fighter (1955).
In addition, The Accidental Tourist (1988) and The Loved One (1965) have both been repackaged and released from the Warner Archive Collection.
A bunch of repackaged classics from Paramount are now on shelves including Chinatown (1974), The Godfather (1972), The Godfather II (1974), The Godfather Part III (1990), Road to Perdition (2002), and The Untouchables (1987).
In sports the Chicago Cubs: 2016 World Series: The Complete Game 7 Ultimate Edition is available on Blu-ray.
