Love ’em or hate ’em, they made the biggest comeback in NFL Super Bowl history. And soon you’ll be able to take the journey with them, through the official NFL documentary of Super Bowl LI and the New England Patriots’ take home of the Lombardi trophy.
The 2-disc combo edition from NFL Productions includes a Blu-ray Disc and DVD copy of the film, with pre-orders currently selling for $34.99 (Blu-ray) and $18 (DVD) on Amazon.
We don’t have official run time of the Super Bowl LI film yet, but if past NFL Super Bowl documentaries are any indication it should run around 70 to 80 minutes. Aspect ratio will likely be 1.78:1, and video resolution 1080i (Blu-ray). The soundtrack will probably be formatted in DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 like previous releases.
The one thing that’s missing though (besides a Digital HD copy), is Tom Brady’s jersey. Do I hear another documentary in the works?
