Universal Studios’ comedy Almost Christmas was released to theaters in time for the holidays, but won’t quite make it to home media before the end of the year. Instead, the film will first be available in Digital HD on January 24, 2017, followed by Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand on February 7, 2017.
Written and directed by David E. Talbert (Baggage Claim), Almost Christmas stars Kimberly Elise, Omar Epps, and Danny Glover. The film centers on a dysfunctional family at Christmas time that’s dealing with the loss of the matriarch of the house.
The Blu-ray edition of Almost Christmas is formatted in 1080p resolution at 1.85:1 widescreen aspect ratio. Audio is available in DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and DVS DD2.0.
Bonus content on both the Blu-ray and DVD includes a gag reel, Monique’s “Aunt May” unplugged, a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film, and more.
