There’s no doubt Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be one of the largest, if not the biggest home media release this year. The film has grossed $2B at the worldwide box office and continues to be shown in theaters even months after premiering.
Disney has already announced Star Wars: The Force Awakens on Blu-ray and Digital HD, releasing on April 1st and April 5th, respectively. However, this does not include the 3D edition of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, of which do not have a release date yet. Nor have we heard anything about an Ultra HD Blu-ray edition of the film.
But let’s take a look at the exclusive and limited Blu-ray editions of Star Wars: The Force Awakens from retailers including Best Buy, Target, and Walmart, as well as a Limited Edition Digital offer from Disney.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens Only @ Best Buy

Best Buy will offer a special SteelBook edition of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Like other Best Buy exclusive editions, the SteelBook will feature packaging not available from other retailers with an internal image spread of the Millennium Falcon chased by a couple TIE fighters.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens BB-8 Walmart Exclusive Edition

Walmart will have their own special edition of Star Wars: The Force Awakens with an exclusive BB-8 slipcover and Galactic Connexions Disc. The edition will also include DVD and Digital HD copies of the film. The Walmart exclusive is currently sold out online.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens Collectible Packaging Target Exclusive

Target is selling their own exclusive edition of that features collectible packaging and over 20 minutes of bonus material redeemable with Disney Movies Anywhere. The bonus includes a never-before-seen interview with Daisy Ridley and John Boyega and other behind-the-scenes content.
