Season 5 of HBO’s original series Girls premieres tonight, February 21st at 10 p.m. with the episode “Wedding Day” directed by series creator Lena Dunham. The 8-episode season will run through April 10th.
In the last episode of Season 4: Jessa returned home where Shoshanna told her she is moving to Japan; Hannah is seen getting close with Fran; Caroline was taken to the hospital to give birth; and Marnie performs solo after Desi does not show up.
What will happen in Season 5? HBO hasn’t revealed much except that the season will demonstrate how “friendship is forever…complicated.” Check out the trailer above for more insight.
