Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the released date for 12 Monkeys: Season One on Blu-ray Disc and DVD. The mystery drama from Syfy, based on the film of the same name, follows time traveler James Cole as he goes back in time to eradicate a deadly plague that changes the world.
The 3-disc Blu-ray combo edition of 12 Monkeys: Season One will include all 13 episodes of Season One, along with Digital HD copies of each episode redeemable through UltraViolet. And, bonus features will include deleted scenes, gag reel, cast auditions, and webisodes.
12 Monkeys: Season One on Blu-ray Disc is formatted in 1080p at 1.78:1 aspect ratio with a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack. Total run-time of the 3-disc set is 9 hours, 19 minutes.
The show is developed by executive producers Terry Matalas and Travis Fickett as well as Natalie Chaidez (“Hunters,” “Sarah Connor Chronicles”), Charles Roven and Richard Suckle from Atlas Entertainment.
Season Two of 12 Monkeys will begin in April 2016 on Syfy.
