The NBA has updated both Android and iOS apps for the 2015/2016 season, and is offering a free trial of NBA League Pass from October 27th through November 3rd.
The app for Apple iOS devices has been improved for NBA Single Game subscribers, and now offers support for Apple Watch. The Android update fixes bugs that affected access to NBA League Pass.
The NBA app update for Android has not been well received, however. One Android user review on Google Play says the app was “once seamless… now bogged down by ads and slow as molasses.” And, several other reviews of the update say the app just doesn’t work.
The iOS update hasn’t escaped criticism either. One reviewer on iTunes said the app is “buggy and hard to navigate,” while another review gave the update 1 out of 5 stars saying it lacks consistency in central information, has a confusing layout, and swiping problems.
But upset app users may find consolation in the free week trial of NBA League Pass.
A subscription to NBA League Pass provides access to all teams and team audio streams. Of course, live games are subject to blackouts, especially locally played games.
NBA League Pass costs $199.99 per season (or in 5 payments of $44.99). The service offers several other subscription tiers including NBA Team Pass, NBA Single Game, and NBA League Pass Audio.
NBA 2K20 holds contests on a large scale. You will start in qualifying, defeating each opponent in turn and towards the championship.
