Paramount Home Media has revealed the Blu-ray slipcover art for Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation, and it’s not too different from what had been previously used. Most notably, the artwork has enlarged the image of Rebecca Ferguson as assassin Ilsa Faust, and added a quote from Access Hollywood.
On Blu-ray, ‘Rogue Nation’ will be available in a 2-disc edition with Blu-ray Disc (50GB), DVD, and Digital HD copy redeemable with UltraViolet, iTunes, and Google Play. Audio is expected to be offered in both English Dolby Atmos and Dolby TrueHD 7.1.
Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation releases to Blu-ray, DVD, and On Demand Dec. 15, 2015. The film will be available early in Digital HD on Nov. 17.
Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation is already available to pre-order on Blu-ray Disc, DVD, and Digital HD. At Amazon, ‘Rogue Nation’ on Blu-ray is priced $24.99 (MSRP: $39.99), while the DVD is priced $18.99 (MSRP: $29.99).
Paramount also announced they will release a new Blu-ray boxed set containing all five “Mission: Impossible” films on BD with digital copies on Dec. 15, 2015. The boxed set is expected to retail for $64.99.
Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation is the fifth film in the franchise, earning $55M at the box office during its first weekend. The film stars Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, along with Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner, and Ving Rhames. In ‘Rogue Nation,’ the IMF team tries to uncover a secret crime organization called the Syndicate.
