This week we’re going to try a more selective group of new titles on Blu-ray, rather than list every new release. With that, here are some of the more popular and anticipated TV shows and movies in home media.
TV: Outlander fans will want to pick up Season One, Volume Two of the hit Starz series in a 2-disc Blu-ray edition with the 8 episodes that continue and conclude the first season. The second volume is also available in a Collector’s Edition with 3D artwork, special features, and more. And, NBC’s Grimm: Season 4 is now available on Blu-ray in a 5-disc edition with Digital HD copy, deleted scenes, gag reel, and other bonus featurettes.
Movies: This week there are several film titles we suggest picking up. Let’s start with the 25th Anniversary of Goodfellas digitally restored in 4k for release on Blu-ray Disc. HBO/Warner Bros.’ Entourage (The Movie) is available in a Blu-ray combo with DVD and Digital HD copy. And, Criterion has remastered the three-time Oscar-winning film A Room with a View to Blu-ray Disc from a new 4k restoration of the film, as well as the 1969 thriller The Honeymoon Killers.
