Starting early July, Showtime will launch its over-the-top (OTT) streaming service on Hulu, making it the first premium network available on the platform that has close to nine million subscribers. At $8.99 per month, Hulu will offer Showtime for a couple dollars less than Apple and Roku where it will cost $10.99 per month. However, Hulu subscribers will also have to pay the Hulu monthly subscription rate of $7.99 per month.
Subscribers will be able access Showtime programming through the Hulu app for Apple iOS and Google Android smartphones and tablets, streaming media players and sticks, game consoles, Smart TVs, and other supporting devices (see a full list below).
The Showtime service is expected to launch in time for the season premieres of hit Showtime originals Ray Donovan and Masters of Sex on July 12th.
