Sling TV has added a couple new channel options to their internet-based TV service, including Turner Classic Movies (TCM) and the Sling TV-exclusive channel Polaris+.
Polaris+ is new to the service’s “Best of Live TV” core package, bringing the total number of channels offered for $20 per month up to 23. The channel, from Disney-owned Maker Studios, includes original content created for YouTube. The Maker channel was already part of the “Best of Live TV” base package.
Turner Classic Movies (TCM) was added to the “Hollywood Extra” channel pack that costs an extra $5 per month on top of the core package. The channel, owned by Time Warner, offers 24-hour programming of classic movie titles, television series, documentaries and shorts.
Other channels in the “Hollywood Extra” pack include Sundance TV and the Epix suite of channels.
Sling recently added a lineup of “Sling Latino” channels with two base packages priced at $7 and $12 per month. And, ESPN Deportes was added to the “Deportes Extra” add-on pack last month.
