You may have heard about Sling TV, Dish Network’s internet streaming TV service that doesn’t require long-term contracts. Sling TV starts at $20 per month for about 20 channels from Sling’s “Best of Live TV” package, but add-ons are available in categories such as family, movies, and sports for an additional $5 per month each.
Popular networks available on Sling TV include AMC (where you can catch the latest episodes of “The Walking Dead”), Disney Channel, EPIX, ESPN, TBS, and TNT. Recently added networks include A&E Networks’ A&E, History, H2 and Lifetime, as well as FYI and Lifetime Movie Network.
Sling TV also offers a selection of international streaming packages with channels geared towards specific languages. The international packages are priced differently, and offer more channels than we’ve listed here. For example, as well as beIN Sports, you can also get the Spanish-language version of the channel beIN Sports en Español.
Sling TV also added HBO to their lineup. The one channel will stream live programming from the network (as opposed to a suite of HBO channels), but will also offer access to HBO’s on-demand library. The HBO add-on will cost an additional $15 per month.
Sling TV’s “Best of Live TV” packages come in either Orange ($20 per mo.) or Blue ($25 per mo.). Here’s a list of Sling TV channels in alphabetical order. You can also view a list of Sling channels organized by package.
