Called “More Bad Ass Than Bond” by The Sun, Kingsman: The Secret Service is now available on Blu-ray Disc and DVD. While previously released to Digital HD, Kingsman: The Secret Service can now be purchased in a 1-Disc Blu-ray edition that includes a redeemable code for a digital copy of the film through either UltraViolet or iTunes. The 20th Century Fox release includes behind-the-scenes material, three image galleries, and several featurettes. The Kingsman: The Secret Service is presented in 2.39:1 widescreen aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1. List Price: $39.99 Price: $19.99.
Last year’s sci-f/thriller Project Almanac hits shelves today on Blu-ray and DVD. The 2-Disc edition from Paramount Home Media includes Blu-ray, DVD and digital copy of the film via UltraViolet or iTunes. A limited number of Blu-ray combo editions also includes a $10 movie card valid through 8/31/2015. Project Almanac includes special features such as alternate opening, deleted scenes, and alternate endings. The BD is formatted in 2.40:1 widescreen aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack. List Price: $39.99 Price: $18.99.
Lionsgate’s teen comedy The DUFF has been released to a combo edition that includes Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD copy redeemable with either UltraViolet or iTunes. The Blu-ray Disc contains extras such as “The DUFF Hits the Red Carpet,” extended gag reel, and additional featurettes. The film is formatted in widscreen 16×9 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound. The DUFF stars Mae Whitman, Bella Thorne, and Ari Sandel, and is rated PG-13.
