Netflix app update for Android phones & tablets is buggy

Netflix has updated the free app for phones and tablets running the Android OS, but sometimes updates don’t always go the way the developers want them to. The newest version of the app gives users new video player controls, enhances the user-interface (UI) in some areas, and includes a bunch of bug fixes. But reviewers of the update have complained the video stream and app itself often freezes, and that connecting to Chromecast is troublesome. Reviews also cite several error codes including -0013, -116, -111,  and -117 upon opening the app. And, quite a few reviews of the Netflix app complain about poorer video quality than the previous version. Our advice? If you can wait this one out for a bit Netflix should release another update soon to address these problems.
