IGN app launches for Amazon’s Fire TV

IGN-Android-app-screen1Want to keep up with the latest video game news, reviews and trailers? IGN Entertainment has launched the IGN app for Amazon’s Fire TV. The app feeds IGN Shows such as Daily Fix, Game Scoop!, Rewind Theater, and IGN Plays to the Fire TV media player, as well as comic book, movie and TV news. Show hosts include Naomi Kyle, Greg Miller, and other IGN editors 24 hours a day. And, the free app (Version 1.0.0 ) is just 7.9MB file. You can find it in the Amazon Appstore for Android Fire TV. The IGN app is also available for Roku devices, and on Google Play and Apple iTunes for Android and iOS devices, respectively.

  1. Why?
The app is on PS4 and the support for it is a joke.
Missing content, most videos are not even uploaded, if videos are uploaded it’s waaaaay later than when they are up on YouTube, it freezes, it crashes and a headache to use.
Once YouTube came to PS4 I deleted the IGN app.
The YouTube app with subscription to IGN’s channel is way better than the IGN app.
If you have a Fire Tv don’t waste your time with the IGN app.
