WATCH Disney, Twitch, iHeart Radio apps added to Chromecast

Here’s some great news for Google Chromecast streamers. The Disney suite of kid’s apps including WATCH Disney, WATCH Disney Junior and WATCH Disney XD are now available for the dongle, as well as Twitch, iHeart Radio, and DramaFever. With the WATCH Disney apps kids and parents alike can view TV shows such as “Doc McStuffins,” “Girl Meets World,” and “Star Wars Rebels” on demand, or view live programming once signed in with the username and password associated with a TV provider. With iHeart Radio users can listen to over 1,500 live radio stations or create custom stations based on songs or artists. Twitch, in case you haven’t heard, is the hottest video platform since YouTube where gamers stream live gameplay for others to watch. Twitch can be cast from the web, Android and iOS apps to your TV. Finally, the DramaFever app has been added to the Chromecast lineup giving users access to over 1,500 international television drama episodes. Back in May, Chromecast added over 100 channels with the PlayOn service, and more recently added WATCH ABC and NPR One.
