Apple has introduced three new MacBook Pro models to the Apple Store, at the same time cutting the price of the 13-inch 2.5GHz model by $100. The new 13-inch models with Retina display are available in the following configurations: 2.6GHz with 128GB flash storage ($1,299); 2.6GHz with 256GB flash storage ($1,499); and 2.8GHz with 512GB flash storage ($1,799).
The new 13-inch MacBook Pros with Retina display all come standard with a dual-core Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB 1600MHz memory, Intel Iris Graphics, and Turbo Boost up to 3.1GHz (with the exception of the 2.8GHZ model with boost up to 3.3GHz).
The now-discounted older 13-inch 2.5GHZ MacBook Pro, previously selling for $1,199, is now priced at $1,099.
Apple also introduced two 15-inch MacBook Pros with Retina Display. A 2.2GHz model with 2.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB 1600MHz memory, and 256GB flash memory is selling for $1,999. A 2.5GHz model with 2.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB 1600MHz memory, and 512GB flash memory is selling for $2,499.
