You may have caught the teaser spot for Transformers: Age of Extinction during last month’s Super Bowl, but have you seen the Official Trailer from Paramount Pictures yet? The 2-minute/30-second video gives you a good taste of the premise of ‘Age of Extinction,’ that starts with mechanic Cade Yeager discovering a Transformer in a beat up semi and leads to a battle between Autobots, Decepticons, and the government. Who would have thought a new Transformers film could be even more epic than the last? This trailer gives you the sense the next one could be.
Transformers: Age of Extinction stars Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Kelsey Grammer, and Stanley Tucci. The film was directed, of course, by Michael Bay and written by Ehren Kruger (Transformers: Dark of the Moon).
The film will release to realD 3D, IMAX 3D, and 2D theaters in the US and other countries this coming summer on June 27, 2014.
