Amazon’s LOVEFiLM to stream ‘Copper’ Season 1

Amazon’s UK-based streaming video service LOVEFiLM will begin streaming episodes of Copper, Cineflix’s TV series set in the Five Points neighborhood of New York City during the American Civil War. Starting Friday, Sept. 13, LOVEFiLM Instant customers will have access to season one of Copper that first began airing on BBC America in August, 2012.

Starring Tom Weston-Jones (“Spooks”), Kyle Schmid (“Being Human”, “Smallville”), and Anastasia Griffith (“Once Upon a Time”, “Lipstick Jungle”), the show is set in 1860s New York City during the last gasps of the Civil War and follows tough but decent police detective Kevin Corcoran (Weston-Jones), a “copper” who returns from the war to discover that his daughter has been murdered and his wife is missing.

LOVEFiLM Instant is available on PC, Mac or via Nintendo Wii and Wii U, Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony Playstation3, Kindle Fire HD and Kindle Fire, Apple iPad and select Internet-connected TV sets and Blu-ray players.
