It’s hard to compare this week’s Blu-ray releases to last week, when Marvel’s Cinematic Universe: Phase One Collection, The Bible: The Epic Miniseries, and Django Unchained hit shelves. But there are several titles worth mentioning. Criterion Collection has released the classic David Cronenberg film Naked Lunch (1991) to Blu-ray Disc. The new high-definition transfer of the film includes audio commentaries, the television documentary “Naked Making Lunch,” and audio recording of William S. Burroughs reading his novel Naked Lunch, among other extras.
Merlin: The Complete Fifth Season is available in a three-disc set from BBC Warner. Kelsey Grammer fans will enjoy Boss: Season 2, a two-disc set with all 10 episodes and high quality DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1. If you’re looking for some laughs, Comedy Central has released Gabriel Iglesias: Aloha Fluffy. And, the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise also been released in bulk today on Blu-ray Disc, with each title including a Digital and UltraViolet copy. Here’s a link to all new Blu-ray releases available at Amazon.
