Last week Michael Arndt (Toy Story 3) was confirmed to be writing the script for Disney’s (yeah Disney’s) upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII film due out in 2015. We already know that George Lucas will provide creative direction for the film (as was indicated when news broke Disney would acquire the Star Wars franchise). But now we know ‘SW’ veteran Lawrence Kasden (The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Raiders of the Lost Ark) would also be writing installments along with Simon Kinberg (X-Men: First Class, Sherlock Holmes) for Episode VIII and Episode IX. How all of these writer’s will be used in the next Star Wars episodes is yet to be determined, but you can be sure die hard fans of the original films will be excited about Kasden. There are also rumors Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford may make appearances as the aged characters they played in the original Star Wars films. Sources report those actors have not ruled out taking part in future Star Wars films again if asked.
