Amazon Instant Video adds EPIX movies to Instant Video

Here’s some great news for Amazon Prime members. The company has announced that members can now watch movies from EPIX channel which includes titles from Paramount Pictures, MGM, and Lionsgate. This means recent titles such as Captain America: The First Avenger, Iron Man 2, and Thor can now be streamed instantly to your supporting device. Other blockbuster titles being added to the Instant Video library include Super 8, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Warrior, True Grit, and Rango. Amazon says that all-in-all 2,000 titles from EPIX will be added to Prime Instant Video this year.

Amazon recently signed a deal with NBC Universal which added TV shows such as Friday Night Lights and Heroes to the instant library. Those titles were added last month, adding to the 25,000 movies and TV shows available to stream instantly.
