Dish Network says they will drop all four of AMC Network’s cable channels due to high licensing fees which can’t be supported by viewership. The networks, including AMC, WE TV, Independent Film Channel, and Sundance Channel, could all be dropped when their contracts terminate at the end of June. What about Mad Men you ask? AMC also broadcasts other critically acclaimed shows include Breaking Bad, The Killing, and The Walking Dead. Will Dish actually drop the AMC Network channels? And if they do, how will subscribers react?
