DirecTV to offer free gameplay Feb. 10-11

Starting Feb. 10, DirecTV is offering a free two-day trial of the satellite company’s interactive games. We’re not talking MW3 or Skyrim here – but the idea of playing games from your TV provider is sort of amusing. The DirecTV games include titles such as SCRABBLE, Home Run Derby, Monopoly, and Ten Pin Bowling. The selection also includes brain-teasing puzzles and card games such as Solitaire and 5 Card Slingo. DirecTV usually charges $5.99 per month (or $56.99 per year) for full unlimited access to these video games — so there has got to be some value there. Head on over to the GSN Game Lounge and try it out for a couple days. Super Bowl is over. You’ve got time on your hands.
