Columbia House has launched their first Blu-ray Club starting with a first offer of two Blu-ray Discs for $5.99 each. They have about 50 titles available to choose from, including titles such as Twilight Saga: Eclipse and Dark Knight.

Netflix and Open Road Films have signed a multi-year agreement which includes streaming of titles during what is traditionally the "pay TV window" after DVDs are released. The first film to stream under the deal will be "Killer Elite" starring Jason Statham, Robert DeNiro and Clive Owen. The film is set to release in theaters on Sept. 23.
For the July 4th weekend Dish Network will offer five movies for 99 cents each via their DISH Cinema channel. The movies are no slouches either. The lineup includes the 2011 films "Sucker Punch," "Battle: Los Angeles," "Hall Pass," and "Just Go With It," as well as last year's 10-time Oscar nominated film "True Grit."
