The recent random rumors about live TV programming finally landing on Xbox Live have now been legitimately upgraded. Via a “person with knowledge of the situation,” Bloomberg is reporting that Microsoft plans to offer online pay television service from Comcast and Verizon through the console, with many other content providers also potentially in the mix.

Tonight FOX premieres "Terra Nova," a post-apocalyptic vision of a dying Earth where scientists attempt a re-population by going back in time. The show follows the Shannon family as they join Terra Nova, the first established colony, which will hopefully save the planet. "

Amazon has just announced a deal that will add FOX titles to their Instant Streaming service. TV shows from the FOX library include The Wonder Years (available in digital form for the first time), Ally McBeal, Arrested Development, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The X-Files, and 24.
