Movies from SnagFilms are now available to stream via a free app the company launched today. As well as smartphones running Android, the app supports tablets such as the Kindle Fire, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab, HTC Flyer, Blackberry Playbook Tablet platforms. (An app for Apple’s iPad was released earlier this year.) SnagFilms says the app will support over 50 smartphones and 10 tablets. A total of 400 films from SnagFilm’s library are available to stream, free-of-charge. The apps, developed by Digital Primates, run on the Adobe AIR runtime environment.
