DirecTV and Dish Network customers now have access to titles from Sony Movie Channel streaming online. The service is exclusive to TV customers, meaning, you just can’t view the movies on Sony’s website without a TV subscription. And, you’ll need to be subscribed to Dish’s HD Platinum or DirecTV’s HD Extra Pack services for access.
Some of the titles queued up on Sony Movie Channel Everywhere include The Prince of Tides, Night of the Living Dead, Christine, and School Daze. Sony says about 20 titles will be added per month, with titles from Columbia Pictures, Screen Gems, Sony Pictures Classics, and TriStar Pictures soon to be part of the streaming library.
To view available titles visit the Sony Movie Channel website and visit their new “Video” section. There you can log-in using your DirecTV or Dish username and password. Dish customers can also view the titles at DishOnline.
