Electronic Arts and DICE officially announced Battlefield 3 will be available in two versions that include a Standard Edition and Limited Edition. The Standard Edition will feature a single-player campaign and 10 co-op maps and multiple multiplayer modes.

Sharp announced they will bring back the Elite brand of televisions starting with two Elite series LED LCD HDTVs later this month.

Hulu will take its first step into producing "long-form" programming with a documentary series from Super Size Me creator Morgan Spurlock. According to the LA Times, "A Day in the Life" will feature Spurlock as he chases after celebrities such as will.i.am and Richard Branson during 24-hour periods.

2K Games and Gearbox have announced development of a sequel to the '09 video game Borderlands. Like the original, Borderlands 2 will support Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC platforms, although no word yet on possible support for OSX.

Universal will release the Martin Scorsese film Cape Fear on Blu-ray Disc this coming fall, marking 20 years since the movie's theatrical release in 1991.

This week Rio starring Jesse Eisenberg and Anne Hathaway is now available on both Blu-ray and DVD. The Blu-ray/DVD Combo release includes deleted scenes, several featurettes, a DVD and Digital Copy of the film.

AT&T has added ten new television channels to their lineup, including five in high-definition. Three out of the five new HD channels provide sports programming including FOX Sports Arizona HD and the soccer-dedicated channels FOX Soccer HD and GolTV HD. Music channel Fuse HD and Nat Geo WILD HD were also added.
