New on Blu-ray this week: Rio, Conan, Sleepers

This week the animated film Rio starring Jesse Eisenberg and Anne Hathaway is now available on both Blu-ray and DVD. The Blu-ray/DVD Combo release includes deleted scenes, several featurettes, a DVD and Digital Copy of the film. Schwarzenegger may not be at the top of his game these days but he certainly was when the first Conan movies were released to theaters. This week, both Conan the Barbarian (1982) and Conan the Destroyer (1984) hit shelves on Blu-ray and I’d put both films up against the latest Conan film any day. Sleepers is a great film from 1996 which stars Robert De Niro, Kevin Bacon and Brad Pitt. Previously released as an expensive import, Sleepers is now available in the U.S. for about $15. And oh yes, Magnificent Seven (1960) starring Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen and Charles Bronson gets high-def treatment this week. Last we checked supplies were limited from Amazon.
