AT&T adds ten new channels, five in HD

AT&T has added ten new television channels to their lineup, including five in high-definition. Three out of the five new HD channels provide sports programming including FOX Sports Arizona HD and the soccer-dedicated channels FOX Soccer HD and GolTV HD. Music channel Fuse HD and Nat Geo WILD HD were also added.

New standard-def channels include MOVIEPLEX, Spanish-language channels ENCORE ESPAÑOL, Nat Geo Mundo, and Utilisima, and international channels Aapka Colors and MTV Arabia.

AT&T now offers up to 400 channels with 170 available in HD. If you’re looking for ESPN 3D, here’s what happened.

Here’s a breakdown of the new channels available on AT&T U-Verse:

  • FOX Soccer HD, FOX Sports Arizona HD, fuse HD, GolTV HD, and Nat Geo WILD HD
  • Spanish-language channel Nat Geo Mundo and Utilisima, available for U200 Latino and Paquete Español subscribers.
  • ENCORE ESPAÑOL, available in the U300 package and above.
  • Aapka Colors, India’s general entertainment channel, bringing viewers a combination of fiction, non-fiction and Bollywood programming. Add to any U-verse TV package for $15 a month.
  • MTV Arabia, available soon for U-verse TV customers, blends pop music from the Middle East and North Africa with classic and new MTV programs, with Arabic subtitles. Add to any U-verse TV package for $5 a month.
  • MOVIEPLEX, part of the Starz Movie Package offering, available in the U300 package and above.
