Time Warner Cable (TWC) has added DreamWorks’ “Megamind” to their 3D video-on-demand library. The title is available for Digital customers who have a 3D TV with glasses and compatible TWC HD or HD/DVR set-top box connected via HDMI. In the animated film a villainous alien named Megamind confronts his nemesis super-hero Metro Man. Will Ferrell, Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill and Tina Fey provide the voiceover talent. The film was created by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Paramount Pictures.
“Megamind” is available in SD, HD, and 3D HD. The HD version can be found under the HD Movies On Demand channel. You can find the 3D version in the 3D category under the HD Movies On Demand channel. Pricing starts at $4.99.
Time Warner Cable is currently offering about 20 titles in 3D high-definition. Popular 3D titles include “The Last Airbender 3D,” “Bolt 3D,” “Shrek Forever After 3D,” and “My Soul To Take 3D.”
