Verizon to broadcast Oregon vs. California in 3D on VERSUS

No. 1-ranked Oregon who has been crushing opponents this season will be VERSUS’ guinea pigs on their first venture into producing a college football game in 3D. Verizon will host the match between Oregon and California at Berkeley on Saturday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT.

For the event at Memorial Stadium VERSUS will have a separate 3D production crew with 3D cameras placed throughout the stadium. Wayne Larrivee, who calls games for the Green Bay Packers, and former NFL quarterback Erik Kramer will be in the host booth.

The VERSUS 3D broadcast will be available to all FiOS TV subscribers nationwide who have an HD set-top box, 3D TV and 3D glasses on Channel 1002. For those of you without 3D setups the game will also be available in high-definition on Channel 590.
