HBO has launched MAX GO, an online service that provides over 700 hours of Cinemax programming free-of-charge to subscribers. Verizon FiOS TV and Comcast customers are able to access MAX GO — which streams content in high-definition (HD) quality to both Macs and PCs.
“Whether watching the linear channels, searching Cinemax on Demand or now clicking through MAX GO, the programming is available the way the consumer desires to access it,” said Shelley Brindle, senior vice president, Domestic Network Distribution, HBO.
HBO’s MAX GO is similar to HBO GO which was launched earlier this year. Through the interface you can create a watchlist, bookmark content, and search by using keyword tags. Multiple sub-accounts are also allowed to simultaneously use the service.
