Normally priced at $79.99, the Blu-ray Disc Die Hard Collection has been slashed 59% down to $32.99 as Amazon’s special Boxed Set Deal of the Week. The 4-disc boxed set includes four Die Hard titles starring Bruce Willis: Die Hard, Die Hard 2: Die Harder, Die Hard with a Vengeance and Live Free or Die Hard.
Released in theaters from 1988 through 2007, the Die Hard series helped define the action film genre of the 80’s and 90’s. 12 years after the release of 1995’s Die Hard: With a Vengeance, Bruce Willis returned for Live Free or Die Hard in 2007. The films also star Samuel L. Jackson, Justin Long, Alan Rickman, Jeremy Irons and Kevin Smith.
Extras on the Die Hard Collection include featurettes, deleted scenes, trailers and audio commentaries. AVC MPEG-4 formatted 1080p video resolution is presented at 2.35:1 widescreen aspect ratio. Audio formats include DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and DTS Surround Sound. Approximate total-run-time of the set is 494 minutes.
