NYC area Time Warner Cable subscribers will have 25 more HD channels to choose from. The additions bring TWC’s high-definition channel count to over 150 in New York City, Mount Vernon, Hudson Valley and New Jersey markets.
“Time Warner Cable now has the HD programming that matters most to New Yorkers, with all the HD games of all nine New York sports teams and NY1 in HD,” said Howard Szarfarc, Executive Vice President, Time Warner Cable’s NYC Region.
New HD channel additions include basic service CSPAN HD, as well as digital HD channels Discovery Kids HD, Fox Soccer HD, Nat Geo Wild HD, and Nick HD. Premium HD channels include HBO HD, HBO Family HD, and Showtime Beyond HD. Sports Tier HD channels include Big Ten 2 HD channels and Gol TV HD. (See below for full list.)
