Bungie has announced that the Halo: Reach multiplayer beta will be available for those who have purchased Halo 3: ODST on May 3rd. Players will need their Halo 3: ODST disc in order to access the beta, however, they will definitely not need Microsoft’s motion sensor ‘Project Natal’ as was recently rumored.
After five years of development and countless rumors, Alan Wake will finally hit shelves on May 18th, 2010. Remedy, the developers behind Max Payne, have finally confirmed the long awaited release of this psychological survival game.
Left 4 Dead 2‘s long rumored DLC ‘The Passing’ is looking at a March release date. Valve has also confirmed that there will be more “original cast” DLC to look forward to after the initial release of ‘The Passing’. Rumors are still indicating that the survivors from the first Left 4 Dead will, at some point, be playable in Left 4 Dead 2.
Dead Rising 2 is yet another zombie thriller that gamers will get their hands on later this year. Capcom has announced that the second installment in the Dead Rising series will be available on August 31st, 2010. Also, Capcom was able to debut new information about an Xbox 360 exclusive downloadable prologue for Dead Rising 2 called ‘Case Zero’. Although this was a Microsoft event, Capcom made sure to let gamers know that they should expect exclusive content for the PS3 version as well.
