‘Ghostbusters’ game announced for PS3 and Xbox 360

Atari has announced “Ghostbusters: The Video Game” will be shipping for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on June 16th. The game will also be released simultaneously on Wii, Playstation 2, PC and Nintendo DS. In the fall, “Ghostbusters: The Video Game” is scheduled to be released on PSP.

Original “Ghostbusters” writers and stars Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd have written content for the game, and Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson have provided voiceovers.

“Ghostbusters: The Video Game” is one of our most significant worldwide releases this summer,” said Jim Wilson, CEO, Atari, Inc.

The game will be released in conjunction with the 25th anniversary of the “Ghostbusters” movie, which will get its first high-definition release on Blu-ray Disc.

“Ghostbusters: The Video Game” is available for pre-order for both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms.
