Race fans will now enjoy the Speed channel in HD, as Cox has added it to its high-definition lineup. The cable television provider also added network FX HD. The new HD channels will initially be available to 600,000 Cox subscribers.
Also in Cox news, according to Multichannel News, the company reached an agreement with Fox to distribute FUEL TV in the Virginia Beach, Northern Virginia, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and Gainesville, Florida areas. The coverage includes 26 million homes. FUEL TV is a sports network focusing on action sports like skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing, FMX and BMX.

I wonder if Kevin’s response was to AZ customers getting SPEEDTV in HD, or other Cox customers? I’m now on a mission to find out tonight.
I must have F1 2009 in HD, after having an HDTV all of 2008, and no races on that channel in HD. Talk about a waste.
I emailed the cox customer service through the web page and they told me it would be added in 3-4 weeks. Sweeet!
Damnit! They better start to add these channels in Arizona.
From a press release. You should contact them. It may also be in a different tier.
I have cox cable and still do not have SPEED HD. What gives? Where did this report come from?
