Blu-ray Disc authoring tool “Create” developed by interactive television company Ensequence announced it reached its 50th BD disc made. The Create software makes it easier and quicker to design interactivity for Blu-ray Discs, including menus, picture-picture, and BD-Live.
The software does not require knowledge of Java or the BD-J specification, so designers and BD authors can easily integrate Blu-ray interactive capabilities. The Create software also enables compatibility with various BD players.
“By offering an intuitive drag-and-drop creative environment for Blu-ray Disc, Ensequence makes it simple for studios and producers to create, test and deliver an entirely new class of interactive experiences for Blu-ray Discs in record time — experiences that are more dynamic, more engaging and more effective,” said Dalen Harrison, CEO, Ensequence.
Does anyone know when a consumer version will be available? Or is that too far away?
