AT&T will add 30 new HD channels to their U-verse line-up on Nov. 3. This brings the company’s high-definition offerings to over 75 channels, which the company says surpasses cable TV HD offerings in U-Verse serviced areas. The channels will be added to customer’s various service plans at no additional charge.
Some of the new HD channels include Fox Business Network HD, Fox News Channel HD, FX Network HD, Lifetime Television HD, Outdoor Channel HD, Planet Green HD, Speed HD, and TMC Xtra HD. Some added premium movie channels in HD include Showtime Extreme HD, ActionMax HD, HBO Signature HD and Starz Edge HD.
In addition, the company has announced it has launched AT&T U-verse TV and AT&T High Speed Internet in several Madison, WI market areas. The new South Central Wisconsin communities include include Beloit, Fitchburg, Janesville, Madison, Maple Bluff, Middleton, Monona and Shorewood Hills.
AT&T was not entirely specific about the areas U-verse has been launched. “We can’t give specific locations for competitive reasons,” said Shelley Goodman, AT&T general manager for Illinois and Wisconsin.
