Residents in Lubbock, Texas now have the option of high-definition television from AT&T’s U-verse service. U-verse delivers 45 HD channels via its 100% IPTV based service. The U-verse package offers television, internet and voice in one service.
“With the launch of AT&T U-verse TV, Lubbock customers are finally getting a better choice to break free from cable,” said Adrian Quintanilla, AT&T general manager for North Texas. “And we’re taking it even further by making your services work together and offering cool features you can’t get anywhere else.”
AT&T recently launched U-verse in six Central Arkansas communities including Little Rock, North Little Rock, Maumelle, Benton, Cammack Village and Sherwood.
U-verse supports 720p and 1080i hi-def formats and costs an extra $10 a month with the U-verse TV package. An optional HD DVR will record up to 37 hours of HD content or 133 hours of standard definition.
